Volunteers Needed for U.S. Open Final Stage Qualifying Event on June 6

The USGA and the Oregon Golf Association are seeking local golfers to serve as volunteers for a U.S. Open final stage qualifying event on Monday, June 6 at Pronghorn Resort. Those who register will receive a complimentary U.S. Open hat and lunch.

Volunteers will work as walking scorers assigned to specific groups to track scores and publish them online for real-time event scoring. This position is “inside the ropes” and will require volunteers to walk a minimum of 18 holes in either the morning or afternoon. Volunteers can choose to work the full day and walk all 36 holes with an assigned group.

The 122nd U.S. Open Championship will be held June 16-19 at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. Jon Rahm is the defending champion.
