Youth on Course to include 18-Year Olds

Oregon Junior Golf is excited to announce effective immediately that courses in Oregon and Southwest Washington will now include 18-year olds to participate in the Youth on Course program!  To further explain, as long as you have a current Youth on Course Membership Card, you may continue to participate in the program when you turn 18.

This will allow the majority of high school seniors to finish out their summer after graduating; continuing to play more golf! Once a player enters into college, the program is no longer valid (regardless of your age). Please note there may be a select courses that have additional age restrictions and those are noted on the Local Youth on Course Availability Document.

The new age eligibility mirrors the eligibility for Oregon Junior Golf Membership (age 7-18).  Oregon Junior Golf Membership is an annual membership renewable each year for $30 and includes access to the Youth on Course program (simply requiring the completion of an online survey for participation in Youth on Course).

In Oregon, Youth on Course has seen consistent growth since it's inception in 2014.  There are now 50 courses participating in the Youth on Course program in Oregon and SW Washington and we welcome all facilities in our region to participate!  For additional information, please visit OregonYouthonCourse.org.  Any facilitiy wishing to join the program, please contact our Junior Golf Team at juniorgolf@oga.org.

Youth on Course is available to junior golfers in our region through a partnership with the Northern California Golf Association.
