OREGON CITY, ORE. ­­– Lara Tennant (Portland, Ore.) and Jake Easterly (Clackamas, Ore.) won their respective divisions Sunday at the 30th Oregon Mid-Amateur Championship, held May 5-6, 2018 at Stone Creek Golf Club in Oregon City, Ore. SEATTLE, WASH. ­­– The team representing the OGA won the 13th PNGA Cup on Friday, May 4th, at Seattle Golf Club in Seattle, Wash. The victory marked the seventh win for the OGA in 13 years of the PNGA Cup. The 13th hole is a dogleg par 4 with tees at 341, 364 and 384 yards. It sure looks tempting from the elevated tees to hit over the dunes and go for a shorter shot to the green, but there is a reason this hole is called “Deception”.
