The OGA in collaboration with Golf Genius Support will be offering upcoming training webinars on USGA Tournament Management (TM). Patrick Denney, Golf Genius Software, West Region Account Manager has agreed to host a series of webinars, exclusively to OGA Member Clubs. Patrick will provide webinars for both new and advanced users. As of January 1, 2018 TPP and TPP Online for Clubs will no longer be available. With that transition, training will be vital for those who have yet to activate their account or need to train staff members or club personnel on the new software. The new user webinars...

HOUSTON, TX. - Amanda Jacobs (Portland, Ore.) fell in the quarterfinals at the 2017 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship, held Nov. 11-16 at Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas. This marked the second-consecutive year that Jacobs advanced to the quarters of the national championship, after doing so in 2016. Jacobs lost in 19 holes to Marissa Mar (San Francisco, Calif.), despite being 2-up with two holes to play. Mar would go on to par the first extra hole after winning both the 17th and 18th holes. HOUSTON, TEXAS - Amanda Jacobs (Portland, Ore.) has advanced to the quarterfinals of the U.S Women's Mid-Amateur Championship for the second-consecutive year. Jacobs, 30, won two matches on Tuesday to advance to this year's final eight. In the round of 32 she defeated No. 11 seed Hana Kim (Los Angeles, Calif.) 3&2, while in the round of 16, Jacobs beat No. 6 seed Martha Leach (Hebron, Ky.) 3&1.
