Vassar finished with a 67-70—137 (-7) to win his first Boys Open Division Major Championship at Running Y Ranch during the Klamath Basin Jr. Up until this point in the season, Vassar’s best finish in an OJG Major was a T19th at the Peter Jacobsen Challenge in Corvallis.
