The inaugural OJG 100 Hole Marathon took place on Saturday, April 15, 2017 hosted by Columbia Edgewater CC in Portland. A total of 16 junior golfers each completed 100 holes of golf on the Mason Course! Play began at 7:40am and the last group completed their 100th hole at 6:20pm. It was a full day of golf! Junior players ranged in age from 10 - 18 and each junior golfer collected donations to support future Oregon Junior Golf Team Competitions as well as the access program, Youth on Course . Thank you to all the Oregon Junior Golf families who generously donated canned food to the 4th Annual SHARE Vancouver Food Drive . We are excited to report this food drive, inspired by Oregon Junior Golfer Graham Moody, has increased in the total amount of food collected each year. Final Standings Oregon Junior Golfer Baylee Hammericksen finished seventh in the Girls 14-15 Division at the National Drive, Chip and Putt Championship held at August National Golf club in Georgia. Hammericksen, who was representing the Pacific Northwest Section, totalled 16 points in the competition which was seven points behind the division winner Savannah Greval of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Oregon Junior Golfer Baylee Hammericksen is headed to Augusta National to compete in the National Drive, Chip & Putt Championship on Sunday, April 2! Baylee will compete in the Girls 14-15 Division representing the Pacific Northwest Section. Baylee's road to Augusta was secured when she won her division at the Regional competition at The Olympic Club (in San Francisco, Calif.) in September of 2016. The inaugural Oregon Junior Golf Association 100 Hole Golf Marathon is an opportunity for Oregon Junior Golfers to test their skills, have fun and support OJGA at the same time! Participants will play 100 holes of golf, all in one day, one ball and one hole at a time. This is also commonly referred to as the 100 Hole Hike.
