WOMEN: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with USGA Handicap Indexes™ of 22.4 or less. The field will be limited to the 21 entrants with the lowest USGA Handicap Indexes at the entry deadline. In the event that the Women’s Division does not reach its field limit, the remaining spots will be transferred to the Men’s Division.
MEN: Entries are open to amateur golfers with USGA Handicap Indexes™ of 10.0 or less. The final Championship field will include exempt players as well as those that advance from the additional 18-hole stroke play qualifying stages.
All contestants must be members in good standing of an OGA Member Club and be at least 25 years of age as of May 5, 2018.
36-hole stroke play competition. Prize awards will be made on the basis of GROSS finish. Merchandise certificates will be awarded to top finishers in each division. Trophies and a Jones Golf Bag will be issued to the low gross champions in each Division. In the event of a tie for the Gross Championship in either division, the winner shall be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.

$155 entry fee must accompany entry form and will include
- Three rounds of golf (one practice round and two competitive rounds)
- Tee prizes
- OGA hosted lunch on Saturday
- Merchandise certificates to top finishers
- Special awards from Jones Sports Co. will be awarded to the low Gross Champions in each division
Refunds are NOT available after the closing date of April 18th, except for documented medical reasons. All refunds are subject to a $20.00 administrative fee.
Entries must reach the OGA office by 5pm on April 18th. Entries by telephone, FAX or email must accompany payment. Online entries are accepted until midnight at www.oga.org. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate’s list to fill spots if they become available up until a time that the OGA Staff establishes. Late entries will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, plus an additional fee of $25. Contestants must contact the OGA in order to submit a late entry.
WOMEN: Last 10 years Oregon Mid-Amateur Champions and all eligible past Oregon Amateur Champions.
MEN: Last 10 years Oregon Mid-Amateur Champions and all eligible past Oregon Amateur Champions, the top 50 eligible players on the OGA Men’s Performance Points List, the top 25 players on the OGA Men's Mid- Amateur Performance Points List and the top 5 golfers on the OGA Senior Men’s Performance Points list (Points Lists are published on www.oga.org); winners of the following championships and special exemptions*.

- Oregon Senior Amateur
Previous year's champion from the following:
- Oregon Men's Stroke Play - Master 40 Division

* The OGA Tournament Committee reserves the right to award a position into the tournament proper to any player(s) who has performed exceptionally well in state, regional and/or national competitions who is otherwise qualified but not exempt. Such awards will be made by invitation of the OGA Tournament Committee at their discretion.
All exempt players must meet eligibility requirements and must file an entry by the deadline.
The Men's Division will be limited to 60 men consisting of exempt players and those advancing from qualifying. The Women's Division will be limited to 21 women with the lowest USGA Handicap Indexes at the entry deadline (the lowest 20 entrants and the defending champion). In the event that the Women's Division does not reach it's field limit, the remaining spots will be transferred to the Men's Division.
Men's Qualifying: In the event the total field size is 95 or less, the 18 hole qualifiers will be cancelled. The Men's field will include exempt players and entrants with the lowest handicap indexes as of the entry deadline.
Practice Round Details
Practice round details will become available when determined by the OGA Championship Department & the golf course.
Points for the 2018 Oregon Mid-Amateur will count for the following team competitions: the 2018 Hudson Cup Team, the 2018 Morse Cup Team and the 2019 PNGA Cup Team. All points awarded from the men’s and women's performance points schedule will count towards senior men’s and women's points.
