OPEN: Entries are open to amateur golfers with USGA Handicap Indexes™ of 10.0 or less. The Open Division is limited to the first 48 sides, age 13 or older as of August 26, 2017
SENIOR MEN: Entries are open to amateur golfers with USGA Handicap Indexes™ of 15.1 or less. The Senior Men’s Division is limited to the first 24 sides, age 50 or older as of August 26, 2017
All contestants must be members in good standing of an OGA Member Club. Entries will be accepted according to the lowest Teams USGA Handicap Indexes™ as of the entry deadline.
Four-Ball: A competition in which two competitors play as partners, each playing his/her own ball. The lower score of the partners is the score for the hole. If one partner fails to complete the play of a hole, there is no penalty.
One round of stroke play qualifying for all divisions to determine flights and seeding for match play. *** NEW: There is a drop flight after the first round of matches. All sides guaranteed 2 rounds of match play. Championship flights in each division will be limited to the following:
WOMEN: The low 16 sides from stroke play qualifying will advance to the Championship Flight, with the remaining entrants placed in single elimination match play flights according to score.
OPEN: The low 32 sides from stroke play qualifying will advance to the Championship Flight, with the remaining entrants placed in single elimination match play flights according to score.
SENIOR MEN: The low 16 sides from stroke play qualifying will advance to the Championship Flight, with the remaining entrants placed in single elimination match play flights according to score.
$300 per team
The player registering for this Championship will be charged the full amount when the team is processed.
Entry fee must accompany your entry and will include:
- 4 Rounds of golf - One practice round and three guaranteed rounds of competition (Stroke play qualifying and 2 Match Play rounds)
- Tee Prizes
- Special awards from Jones Sports Co. will be issued to the Open, Women's and Senior Men's Champions
Refunds are NOT available after the closing date of August 9th, except for documented medical reasons. All refunds are subject to a $20.00 administrative fee.
Entries will be accepted according to the date of receipt of entry and entry fee. Entries must reach the OGA office by 5pm on August 9th. Entries by telephone, fax, or email must accompany payment and must be received by 5pm of the deadline. Online entries are accepted until midnight. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate's list to fill spots if they become available up until a time that the OGA Staff establishes. Late entries will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, plus an additional fee of $25. Contestants must contact the OGA in order to submit a late entry.

Practice Round Details
Players may call Black Butte Ranch at 541-595-1500 at anytime to make practice round arrangements. Practice rounds will be available on a space available basis after 11am the week prior to the Championship. Practice rounds are for contestants only and will not be extended to guests, caddies, or family members. You must identify yourself as a Four-Ball Championship Contestant in order to receive your complimentary practice round. Players who wish to use their practice round are expected to abide by all club rules including pace of play.
Oregon Four-Ball participants receive a 20% discount on all available homes, condos and lodge rooms from Friday, August 25th - Wednesday, August 30th. For reservations, call 541-595-1245. Please mention the Oregon Four-Ball at the time of booking.
Points for the 2017 Oregon Four-Ball Championship will count for the following team competitions: the 2017 Hudson Cup Team, the 2018 Morse Cup Team, the 2018 USGA Men's State Team, the 2018 PNGA Cup Team and half points for the 2019 USGA Women's State Team. All points awarded from the men’s or women's performance points schedule will count towards senior men’s or senior women's points.
