107th Oregon Amateur Championship
Championship Saturday - Saturday, June 25th Recap
BLACK BUTTE RANCH, ORE. – Conner Barr (Beaverton, Ore.) defeated Brian Humphreys (Washougal, Wash.) 2 and 1 and Krissy Peterson (Canby, Ore.) defeated Gigi Stoll (Tigard, Ore.) 1-up as both players won titles at the 107th Oregon Amateur Championship, held June 20-25 at Black Butte Ranch – Glaze Meadow in Black Butte Ranch, Ore.
Both matches were highly competitive, featuring spectacular shots, great up-and-downs and eventually, two champions.
Match Play Day Three - Friday, June 24th Recap
BLACK BUTTE RANCH, ORE. – The semifinals are complete and the men’s and women’s championship matches are set at the 107th Oregon Amateur Championship, held June 20-25 at Black Butte Ranch – Glaze Meadow in Black Butte Ranch, Ore.
Gigi Stoll (Tigard, Ore.) will look to win a third-consecutive Oregon Women’s Amateur title on Saturday. She’ll face off against Krissy Peterson (Canby, Ore.). The women’s championship match will be played tomorrow, Saturday, June 25th at 8:15 AM off the first tee.
Match Play Day Two - Thursday, June 23rd Recap
BLACK BUTTE RANCH, ORE. – The final four women and final eight men vying for a state title are now set for semifinal and quarterfinal matches, respectively, at the 107th Oregon Amateur Championship, held June 20-25 at Black Butte Ranch – Glaze Meadow in Black Butte Ranch, Ore.
Women’s quarterfinal matches were held Thursday, as the remaining four players will play semifinal matches on Friday. Those matches will take place at 8:45 AM and 8:54 AM.
Match Play Day One - Wednesday, June 22nd Recap
BLACK BUTTE RANCH, ORE. – Top seeds Sulman Raza (Eugene, Ore.) and Gigi Stoll (Tigard, Ore.) each won their respective matches on Wednesday, as the 107th Oregon Amateur Championship completed its first day of match play at Black Butte Ranch – Glaze Meadow in Black Butte Ranch, Ore.
The men’s bracket played one round today, as the field dwindled from 64 to 32. Two rounds will be held on Thursday, as the round-of-32 and round-of-16 matches will take place and the quarterfinals will be set by the end of the day.
Stroke Play Qualifying Day Two - Tuesday, June 21st Recap
BLACK BUTTE RANCH, ORE. – Sulman Raza (Eugene, Ore.) and Gigi Stoll (Tigard, Ore.) each earned stroke play qualifying medalist honors and the number one seed in their respected bracket at the 107th Oregon Amateur Championship, held this week at Black Butte Ranch – Glaze Meadow in Black Butte Ranch, Ore.
Both men and women players participated in 36-hole stroke play qualifying Monday and Tuesday at Glaze Meadow. The men’s field was cut to the low-64 scores, while all 26 women advanced to match play beginning on Wednesday.
Stroke Play Qualifying Day One - Monday, June 20th Recap
BLACK BUTTE RANCH, ORE. – Two players are tied for the lead in both the Men’s and Women’s championships after the first day of stroke play qualifying at the 107th Oregon Amateur Championship, held on the Glaze Meadow Course at Black Butte Ranch in Black Butte Ranch, Ore.
UCLA golfer and accomplished former Oregon Junior Golfer Cole Madey (West Linn, Ore.) and Oregon State Beaver and fellow accomplished junior golfer in the state Kevin Murphy (Rogue River, Ore.) are tied at the top of the leaderboard after both shot impressive rounds of 4-under par 68. Two shots back at 2-under par are three players: Justin Kadin (Corvallis, Ore.), Billy Pollock (Eugene, Ore.) and Justin Wiles (Klamath Falls, Ore.).
WOMEN: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with USGA Handicap Indexes™ of 15.0 or less. The field will be limited to the 48 entrants with the lowest USGA Handicap Indexes at the entry deadline. In the event that the Women’s Division does not reach its field limit, the remaining spots will be transferred to the Men’s Division.
MEN: Entries are open to amateur golfers with USGA Handicap Indexes™ of 5.0 or less. The final Championship field will include exempt players as well as those that advance from the additional 18-hole stroke play qualifying stages.
All contestants must be members in good standing of an OGA Member Club and be at least 13 years of age as of June 20, 2016.
WOMEN: The low 32 finishers from the first two rounds of stroke play will advance to single elimination match play.
MEN: The low 64 finishers from the first two rounds of stroke play will advance to single elimination match play.
QUALIFYING: Those attempting to qualify are only allowed to register and do so at one site.

Exempt Players: $200
Qualifying: $100 + Event Fees of $100 upon qualifying
Entry fee must accompany your entry and will include:
- 3 Rounds of golf - One practice round and two competition rounds
- OGA hosted lunch first two days
- Tee Prizes
- A trophy will be awarded to the Men’s and Women’s Champion and Runner-up
- Special awards from Jones Sports Co. will be issued to the Men's and Women's Champions
Refunds are NOT available after the closing date of May 25th, except for documented medical reasons. All refunds are subject to a $20.00 administrative fee.
Entries will be accepted according to the date of receipt of entry and entry fee. Entries must reach the OGA office by 5pm on May 25th. Entries by telephone, fax, or email must accompany payment and must be received by 5pm of the deadline. Online entries are accepted until midnight. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate's list to fill spots if they become available up until a time that the OGA Staff establishes. Late entries will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, plus an additional fee of $25. Contestants must contact the OGA in order to submit a late entry.

* The OGA Tournament Committee reserves the right to award a position into the tournament proper to any player(s) who has performed exceptionally well in state, regional and/or national competitions who is otherwise qualified but not exempt. Such awards will be made by invitation of the OGA Tournament Committee at their discretion.

Practice Round Details
Practice round details will become available when determined by the OGA Championship Department & the golf course.
Points for the 2016 Oregon Amateur Championship will count for the following team competitions: the 2016 Hudson Cup Team, the 2016 Morse Cup Team, 2016 USGA Men's State Team, the 2017 PNGA Cup Team and half points for the 2017 USGA Women's State Team. All points awarded from the men’s or women's performance points schedule will count towards senior men’s or senior women's points.
